One of the glorious things about photography is that it enables us to take a moment of our present, and make it available to look on in meticulous detail in the future. This week, share with us your interpretation of future.
One of my favourite poems is this one by Gerald Massey, Every second is a future and we really do not know what it hold s for us. It may be what we want or something we really do not expect. My favourite relative believes that we should learn to take life as it comes. This gives us the strength. I too believe in this.
Not by appointment do we meet delight
Or joy; they heed not our expectancy;
But round some corner of the streets of life
They of a sudden greet us with a smile.’
Sun rise and a new day with and unknown future. As i took this photo a bird flew across and that was a moment of delight:)
My fathr-in-law is 91, he has a long past but the future is as interesting for him as the past was. Sitting on his young relative’s bike was a moment of joy for him. he used to ride bikes till twenty years ago.
His great grandson, our daughter’s son, who is the future.
