A Photo a Week challenge : Peaceful Place

Our small town is located on a hill. One end of this hill is called EndPoint. For me this is a very peaceful place. We can see the Arabian sea in the distance, the river Swarna flowing towards the sea. There is peace and quiet here. We used to go there at least four times a week for our evening walk.  Waiting to go there 🙂

Walking around the lake in our place is another favourite place. Looking at the sun set on the lake and feeling the fresh breeze brings peace to the mind.

Venugopala temple and the park in front of it is another peaceful place in our town.

    Such beautiful photos. I feel more calm just looking at them. Thanks for sharing them I really enjoyed looking at them. My favourite was the photo of the river. It reminds me my own childhood home where I lived near a river. Once I was old enough I would go down there to play or spend time with friends. No matter what difficulties were happening in my life, I always felt more peaceful after spending time there. Years later I would take my own son to see the same spots.

    Such peaceful and beautiful places, Lakshmi. I can certainly imagine they are special places to spend time. I love spending time in the woods and by the river – we have our special family places there. I have felt fortunate in these lockdown days that we are allowed a daily walk and can still enjoy the natural landscapes in our local area.
